Sponsor for amateur´s stock car racing
At the weekend of the 4th and 5th September 2011, the Gebr. Heyl premiered as sponsor for amateur’s stock car racing. The hundred percent Heyl subsidiary supported the stock car racing club „Wer bremst verliert“.
At the 31st stubble field motor racing in Wendeburg, Lower Saxony, the club competed with nine cars and twelve drivers. The team captured the victory in the quarter-mile race (engine-power class 3) and rode with the upper third of the 270 amateur drivers within the 2nd and 4th class. The audience of about 5000 people enjoyed the hot and ambitious races in while the blue painted „Heyl / Neomeris“-racer „tilled the field“. The managing director, Marc Osterwald points out: “We want to support prospectively the amateur sports, because there it’s all about the fun. Enthusiasm is the motivation for energetic people, and this appreciation is also our motive force to present our customers process water technology. Enthusiasm is the impulse for innovation and target achievement – just like in stock car racing”.
